This tour covers a bird community of over 500 species, and is an excellent introduction to habitats more specific to Bolivia. Interesting species possible are Red-legged Seriema, Andean Condor, Military Macaw, the endemic and Endangered Red-fronted Macaw, Cliff Parakeet, White-eared Puffbird, Bolivian Recurvebill, and Bolivian Blackbird.

The tour starts in the morning in Santa Cruz, either from your arrival flight at Viru-Viru International airport, or from your hotel. We the first afternoon and early morning in savannas and dry lowland forest. We then travel to the Los Volcanes lodge for three nights of foothill forest discovery, and then head to the Red-fronted Macaw lodge for another three nights. The tour will end in the late afternoon on the eight day in Santa Cruz. This is a very comfortable tour in fully-equipped lodges with great food.
